Join us for an evening of Dialogue

What will it take to achieve the rigorous education outcomes we dream of for every child in Atlanta? Can we realize this dream by tinkering only within the walls of the schoolhouse - ensuring a world-class curriculum, excellent teachers and well-designed facilities? Or will it take more?

Every member of our community plays a role in determining the outcomes our public school system will achieve. Transforming our schools will require a broader definition of quality education and a bolder approach to deliver it. Will your role be passive or active?

You are invited to join a dialogue with celebrated national scholar Pedro Noguera, Ph.D. to explore why and how a connected community has such a powerful impact on school and student outcomes.

Dr. Noguera will be joined by a panel of luminaries moderated by Dr. Beverly Tatum. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about urban communities that have successfully transformed education and the inspiring work of Atlantans to make a difference in our own backyard.

What will you take home? In addition to bringing home a nuanced understanding of reform in urban education, you will learn simple ways you can make a difference regardless of your role in the community.
